A Battle Royal for a CW Heavyweight Title Shot and a CW Tag Team Title Match highlight CW's debut in Woburn on Friday night, January 29th!

Chaotic gold will be on the line as the current top dogs of the tag team division, The Logan Brothers (Bryan & Matt) will be defending their CW Tag Team Titles against The Empire. With the Battle Royal for a CW Heavyweight Title shot as well as a CW Tag Team Title shot for his charges, Sean Gorman's "Manager of Champions" claim will be inarguable if Brian Fury and Scott Reed are successful. The Logans are flying high these days and will no doubt be prepared for everything Gorman, Fury and Reed will have up their sleeves. Also lurking in the background will be Intellectual Properties, "The Enforcer" Max Bauer & Tommaso Ciampa. Ciampa and Bauer were victorious over CW Heavyweight Champion Chase Del Monte and "Mighty Mini" Mark Bourne last time in Lowell and are eyeing a shot at whichever teams comes out on top on January 29th at the Woburn Elks Lodge. Will the Logans be able to overcome The Empire or will the three-on-two advantage be too much for the tag team specialists?

Elite Wrestling Riot is disappointed to announce that due to scheduling conflicts, Slyck Wagner Brown will not be able to attend "Come Back City" on December 19th. However, the EWR has found a more than capable replacement...

Tommaso Ciampa has answered the challenge and will be in the house to take on Bobby Fish! Tommaso has worked for promotions all across the country including ROH and WWE! He was also signed to a development deal with the WWE and spent the majority of 2007 training down in Ohio Valley Wrestling. Tommaso is a welcome addition to the EWR roster and we're looking forward to seeing what he can do.

I just returned from this show, which drew around 800 or so to Crosby High School in Waterbury, CT to see Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, Ken Anderson, Christie Hemme, and Paul London.

There was a huge line of people there to see Bret, and the line moved very slowly. Bret was pleasant as usual, but seemed to not want to be there.

SATURDAY 11/14 ROAD TO THE GOLD

Millennium Wrestling Federation officials have finalized an MWF Television Championship match between the current champion "Straight Edge" Brian Fury and former champion "Million Dollar Investment" Tommaso Ciampa of JBL's Uprising at ROAD TO THE GOLD November 14th!

Ciampa won the MWF TV Title in his debut in the fall of 2007, defeating "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards and TNA superstar AJ Styles in a triple threat match to capture the gold. Nine months later, he lost the title to another TNA star, "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal in a Lumberjack Match.

On the September 2008 ULTRA, Brian Fury was back in action in the MWF against Ciampa and came away with a win in a thrilling match. Afterward, Ciampa and the rest of the Uprising gave Fury (and Scott Reed) such a vicious beating that Ciampa was suspended by President Cena for half a year until March, when JBL paid to have Tomasso reinstated.

In a two-out-of-three-falls match, Jason Blade vs. Tomasso Ciampa ended in
a draw when both men were counted out of the ring during the third fall.
After the match, both men continued to fight in the ring, in the balcony, and
anywhere else they could. It took several referees, wrestlers, and announcers
to break up the fracas.
